From Industry to Entrepreneurship
After graduating in 1976, Sh. Bhambari worked for 4 years at Sehgal Papers in Dharuhera, Haryana. Here, he gained firsthand experience in the paper industry, understanding both the technical and operational aspects of manufacturing.
He then moved to Escorts Ltd. (Motorcycle Division), where he spent 6 years (till 1986) in managerial roles in Product Engineering, Testing, and R&D. His time at Escorts refined his technical skills and exposed him to world-class manufacturing and testing practices.
Joining Bhambari Printers: A New Chapter in 1986
In 1986, Sh. Hemant Bhambari returned to Chandigarh and joined the family business — Bhambari Printers. Armed with rich industry experience and an engineering mindset, he took charge of modernizing the company’s operations. He focused on:
- Upgrading machinery and printing technology
- Streamlining operations
- Bringing in process-oriented thinking from his corporate background
His contributions went beyond production—he actively led the company’s banking and financial strategies, helping secure long-term growth and stability.
A Vision Realized: Launching Bhambari Printpack, Baddi
In 2005, recognizing the growing demand in the packaging sector, he launched Bhambari Printpack in Baddi (Himachal Pradesh)—a modern packaging unit that expanded the company’s footprint into FMCG and industrial packaging.
This forward-thinking move helped Bhambari Group diversify its offerings and cater to large-scale clients, making it a trusted name in both printing and packaging.
